nightfall

i know i haven't really been updating this blog, and my camera has been collecting dust in some obscured corner of my room, but i've been really busy with the theatre production: nightfall. i'm directing the play as well as acting in it, and all of us have been working really hard to make this play a success, what with late night rehearsals after rushing down from work every single day.

i started acting and being involved in theatre at the age of thirteen, and since then i've acted in numerous plays and directed a handful. they are all just school productions, so yea nothing major. i really like the stage though, through acting i can express vent up emotions and anger (which explains why most of the plays i direct are creepy/angsty/macabre), and i really enjoy the magic which theatre is able to create. most importantly i love working with my team, no matter how much torment and torture we have to go through and endure, every single team is brought together with the love of theatre and in the hope of creating a magical piece for the audience to enjoy. trust me, the stage is a magical place, for actors, directors, crew, and the audience.
